SM Mall and a tenant concern

How many malls in the Philippines could you name in 5 seconds?.  I think like the Jollibee burger, a very famous fastfood chain in the Philippines for the masses. SM would be the first in your mind if you are a Filipino especially for the minimum wage or above average earner leaving in major cities.

Have you wondered how tenants are treated or rather what are the level of respect the SM Mall is giving to their valuable tenants?. If I am not mistaken, the tenants are the lifeblood of the SM Malls. Don't get me wrong, I am talking about the stores and kiosk outside the department store but within mall premises inside. To avail or rent a commercial space in the SM Mall, you need to talk to their leasing representative. For first time/new and applying tenants, are you treated with value by these representatives especially if you are talking to their officers?. Or for those who had been/are tenants, are you feeling the same good treatment when you first arrive or are you being implicitly bullied at certain point, meaning you see something is amiss but when you question their double standard policies  you are treated wrongly as if they (SM) are the ones paying the tenants.... TENANTS ARE CUSTOMERS.

How many tenants complaints against the management of SM especially the malls?, are all being rectified?, or is a tenant treated as troublemakers and their tenant contract not renewed if they complain?. Tried searching online for complains against SM Mall but only a few can be found, very, very few do post online -- odd.  They (SM) must have a very good damage control department out there. Is this how it is? or just arrogance on the part of certain SM Mall personalities.

In Globe We Trust? -- Bayantel's service woes

Were we led to believe that the sale of Bayantel will lead to a better service to Bayantel's consumers?. Can we say that Bayantel internet service is below standard?. Did Globe bought Bayantel just for the purpose of shutting down a third telecommunication provider?. Are Philippine consumer really, really, at the mercy of monopolistic or rather duopolistic companies?. Where's consumer protection?

If you are a Bayantel user, had you felt being treated like a second rate consumer of Globe's support services?. Yes Globe!, the company that bought Bayantel. Had anyone tried complaining at any Globe center about your Bayantel phone or internet concerns?. I think Globe got their hands full just to maintain Bayantel's customers. It's been a couple of months now and it's not even an improvement to Bayantel's internet and phone services.

Is there a commitment by Globe Telecom to improve Bayantel's service or it's a ploy to transfer existing Bayantel customers to Globe's own clientele?. I say clientele because it seems that until now  Globe's support operation does not even have a full grasp in handling concerns of Bayantel  customers.

You don't even need to be a real Globe customer. Try talking or complaining to a Globe support staff. You can feel something is really wrong with their service.

Do you get a sense that Filipinos are being treated as stupid people by these big corporations, gullible consumers that can be pacified with gadgets and freebees to counter balance a lousy service?.

Social Media, The Duterte Era

Who really believed among the Philippine television network establishments and local news agencies that social media will have a major effect on the 2016 Philippine election at that time. Safe to say that the Philippine's Duterte became president of the Philippines partly because of social media. Thanks to the pro Duterte social media fans, a pro-duterte social media phenomena came to be and partly to protect the president of the Philippines from online attacks.

Now, certain quarters are finding ways to silence these fanatical social media followers of Duterte (as if they can), why?. I've watched lawyers being interviewed by news media personalities on suggestions how to stop these social media fanatics. Are media people afraid?. Or maybe television networks are trying to create a mindset of their listeners and viewers for a future agenda.

Going back to the Duterte phenomena. It's just that Duterte's social media suporters had done it first, no rules, maybe a love for the Duterte way. It's  basically the understanding of the power of social media on Philippine politics and way of life. As a result, supporters of President Duterte in social media are now branded as Dutertards (retarded followers of Duterte) or the "Dutertrolls", a phenomena indeed but this is another story. Now, do we want the Dutertards to stop or a Duterte to be stopped...?.

If only previous administration leaders had the political will to do what needs to be done. Do you think the Philippines will have this social media phenomena?, do you think Mr Duterte will still run for president?.

Vote Wisely - Philippine presidential election, 2016

VOTE WISELY!

If you vote for me -- you are wise.....That is why It's More Fun In The Philippines.

Majority of the  presidential aspirants are already assuming they got the votes to win not because of their platform of service but rather false promises to sweet-talk voters to vote for them.

But let's be fair, all presidential elections are based on a strategy to win. It only varies on the technical truth of what the future president will actually deliver.

So are you wise if you vote for
- a president who is implicated with graft and corruption?
- a president who's family plundered a nation?
- a president who gives criminality a run for their money?
- a president who is witty and wise but with health concerns?
- a president who's nationality is being contested?
- a president who's charisma is as far as the current administration?

Presidential elections in the Philippines are always about themselves. Any words about the poor are just WORDS. The 50 years of true economic development never came, past presidents were short of what should be expected at a minimum.

Luckily a presidential aspirant has been bold enough to talk about issues that other aspirants don't want to discuss but known to all. The question is, how long will this bold aspirant be able to keep his unconventional approach to win support the Philippine election way? . . .

KBP's Trillanes vs Binay debate -- the bigger picture

Before I start, see this video, "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTh2FV41pxA". Are the documents shown on screen real?. . THIS IS THE PHILIPPINES FUTURE... Anyway all must go beyond this, but never forget the issues.

Filipinos must understand a more hidden meaning of what is happening to the Philippines political arena or rather what has been happening. But I think the Filipinos already knows, it's a matter of  doing nothing or confronting the issue and doing something. You don't need to go to the street to do something, if you don't have the means, you surely have the mindset that can be changed then the rest will fall into place. Filipinos only need to think that life is not what is given but rather what can be achieved.

Nearing election time, politicians are again making a tool out of the Filipino people especially the masses. Is this debate for the people or for the politicians themselves?. Come election time just around the corner, with the short memory span of Filipinos. This debate will surely not have any bearing because the bottom line will always be the sweetest talker to lure majority of Filipino voters, not accomplishments, not capability to lead, not qualification, not trustworthiness. But then again, who knows, the ordinary Filipino voters are evolving.

I think the ordinary Filipino had accepted that having just food on the table, a roof, and the latest electronic gadgets are already a blessing so the rest are irrelevant.  With the formal ASEAN integration next year, need not to say that the Philippine political leaders should step up and those unfit should give way to more deserving presidential aspirants.

Freemindonline is now back!

I am your analyst and conspiracy theorist, your everyday person. Putting the pieces together and making sense out of it. Alarmist or whatever you call it, this is how our world is. In order to lead, in order to command, in order to control -- you need someone to think ahead and make sure that all possible scenarios are explored and prepared for.

Thinking out loud.

Why Malaysia's action and reclaiming Sabah

The Malaysian government stand and actions since day 1 is something that the Philippines government should study and possibly learn from. Unlike the Philippines wherein government actions are based on corruption possibilities and officials staying in power, Malaysia is acting in behalf of the people of Sabah.

The people of Sabah had already voted to be with Malaysia decades ago. This situation should not have happened if the Philippine government past and present had just listened and served what is due to the people of Mindanao. The situation in Sabah is an ingredient to get countries involved in an armed conflict. The only recourse of the supposed sultanate are the UN and international courts to handle and intervene on international issues.

Sabah is what Hawai, Guam, and the Philippines are to the US. A buffer island in case the Philippines decides to take on Malaysia. The Kirams just handed a silver platter for Malaysia to permanently increase military presence nearest the southern corridor of the Philippines.
